Progress on the new house!

Well, progress has been made on our new house. They started to frame up the foundation supports last week and poured the footers for the foundation this week. The cement is still setting up. The nice weather over Memorial Day Weekend should dry it out enough to continue the following week.









This is Dubs trying to get her Squirrel that we hid from her in the clothes basket. She is obsessed with that stupid squirrel. It's such a pain in the butt!

House- SOLD!

Well, our first house is now officially SOLD! That is, if nothing goes wrong during inspection/closing. If all goes well, we should be out of this house by Mid-June. Then its back to apartment living for a couple months until our new house is finished! We're planning on renting a 1 bedroom apartment and renting a storage unit for the rest of our crap! Hopefully we'll save some money by renting a smaller apartment. So if you're planning on visiting us before August, better bring the "I'm sleeping in the living room on an air mattress" kind of attitude!

New Home Site

Sam and I met with our builder last week to review the plans before construction. Below are a couple pictures of lot 53.
