Summer House

Ha! If only that was the truth. Shawn and I are officially moved into our new casa at Ashbury Square. It is a studio apartment that they market (falsely) as a one-bedroom, but it gets the job done (and it has a pool!). It's tight quarters with two grown-ups, a cat and a squirrel-on-crack (that's what the leasing lady called our Dublyn--can you believe it?:-) ).

Shawn's 28th Birthday

My darling husband is officially in his late 20s, and he has the cute little gray hairs and everything. I just love him so much! Below are some pictures from his birthday. It was rather anticlimactic as we had to move half of our house into storage that day (in 104 degree weather). But we still made time for dinner, cheesecake and presents. Enjoy!

My Spring Recital

June 6th was my violin student's spring recital. It was absolutely wonderful!



When you work with these students week after week, month after month, to watch them stand up and perform and know you had a part in making that happen is such a great feeling. Below are some pics from the big day. Enjoy! Eli is 4. His lessons are a riot! And he keeps me updated on all the new cool toys! Here Eli is playing a complicated version of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

Olivia is 4, too. She has the loudest laugh I've ever heard come out of a 4 year old-- you can't help but laugh yourself! She was playing Beauty and the Beast.
