Eno River State Park

Below are a few pics from our trip to Eno River State Park. Its about 15-20 minutes from our house in between Hillsboro and Durham. Dubs went with us to burn some energy.

The images below are from the remains of the old saw mill that used to sit along the river.




Dubs is the only dog I know that does not like to jump into large pools of water. This is as far as we went into the Eno River. She'd rather run I guess.

Dern Squirrel

Dubs and her new favorite "beat up" toy......The Dern Squirrel. She tries to tear it apart almost every night....but carries it around with her everywhere. You touch it, you've just volunteered to play tug-of-war all night!

New Entertainment Center

This is our new entertainment center for those of you who are out of state. Funny story comes along with this one. We had to pick it up from the furniture store in 2 trips due to the size. Well the second trip was made on a very windy day and our top piece did a little dance with the road on I-40/Wendover Ave. Luckily the backside took most of the damage. We had to re-stain and re-glue some spots....but overall it took the beating very well!

The only way that I was allowed to get a new (bigger) TV was if Sam got to pick out a new entertainment center. We got this one at a very good price...then slammed it on the road! Ah well, we're not meant to have nice, undamaged stuff!

The 42" LCD flat screen is nice....we've been watching the HD channels we never knew we had. Watched the Daytona 500 this past Sunday and it was like I was standing on the track. Which we all know isn't true, because the entertainment center would have been slammed on the track right beside me if I had actually been there!
