Casey and Matt's Wedding

Shawn and I went to the rolling hills of PA this weekend for Casey and Matt's wedding--YAY! We left Thursday night, thinking leaving from NC Friday morning for a 6:30 PA wedding would be stressful. Ah the luck of the Magee's strikes again! Shawn and I left TWO HOURS early for the wedding, only to be stopped in traffic for TWO HOURS on the journey there. Needless to say, we arrived at 6:29 and kicked up our heels (I kicked off mine!) and ran into the wedding. We made it-but the camera didn't until the reception. Bummer. The wedding was beautiful, the reception delightful and it was SO GREAT to see the Bam girls again! It's been too long ladies! We need to get on those summer getaway plans!

Mr. and Mrs. Connelly

This pic is one of the waitstaff at the event. It's not the best picture, but I could not help but admire his M.C. Hammer pants-worn so confidently in 2008-that I had to snap a photo. You can't touch this!

BAM Girls minus the woman of the hour!
The cake! (Side note- that woman in the black dress is Matt's Mom. DUDE! I hope I look like a hot tamale like her at my son's wedding!)

And now we're complete (minus Mae and Jen T-we missed you ladies!)

Jon, Jules and ShawnMama-2-be Janae, Wig, Papa-2-be Jon and a spoon. Ah yes, no wedding would be complete without a random picture of a spoon. Thank you Jon, for making that wish come true! :-)

Saturday we went to Erie to see my grandparents and Shawn's Mom. Then Saturday night, Neil and Jes came down (but did not bring Jopa---party poopers!) and we spent some time with the Callahan clan minus Tommy, Amy and the girls. It's always nice to see everyone-but going home really drains the energy out of us!

We left early Sunday so we could pick up the Dubs between 3-5 in NC. And now, we are safe and sound, good memories to sustain us as we plummet back into the throes of work.

Goodbye to our first house...well, hopefully

Well, its time to say goodbye to our first house (in the pics below, for those who have never visited, SLACKERS!).....well, hopefully. We're in the middle of selling our house because we're building a new one! Its actually in a development just down the road. Its been a great house with plenty of memories. We hate to leave the house and our neighbors, but we can't pass up the opportunity that we have now. With the mortgage rates as low as they are now, our mortgage will actually be about what it is now....but double the size of the house! Wish us luck selling!
