Random Update

As many of you know, my mom and pops came down for a little R&R NC style. The first night my dad, who repeatedly told me how worried he was about me and the scooter, took the scooter for a spin around greater downtown Burlington. Below is a pic of him pulling back in, safe and sound. (I was freaking out, however. I mean, he doesn't know the area... he should not be joy riding around it!)


Shawn and I have really been enjoying the scooter. Shawn gets a kick out of the hard core Harley biker dudes thinking he is a biker too and doing "the biker wave". Below are some pics from our scooting adventures.

In addition to learning how to ride the scooter and my parents visiting, Shawn and I have been busy taking care of things for the new house, working, giving lessons, etc. Below is a picture of the castle I had a wedding at this past weekend. It is called Castle McCulloch and it is in Jamestown, NC. It was so cool to be playing in a castle with a real drawbridge and everything.
